Bringing Paws to Your Porch ~ We Deliver Doodles Nationwide!
At Four Front Doodles, we believe every dog deserves a loving, well-balanced home where they can thrive as a cherished member of the family. That’s why we’ve created our Guardian Home Program—a unique opportunity for local families to partner with us in raising happy, healthy, and well-socialized breeding dogs in a home environment rather than a kennel.
Our guardian dogs are the heart of our program. They are placed with carefully selected families who provide them with all the love, care, and attention they need to live a full and enriched life. In return, we retain breeding rights for a set number of litters (for females) or years (for males), while covering all breeding-related veterinary expenses. Once a guardian dog completes their breeding career, full ownership is officially transferred to their family, and they remain with them for life.
What It Means to Be a Guardian Family
Guardian families are an extension of the Four Front Doodles family. These special homes are committed to providing excellent care—regular exercise, proper training, and a safe, loving environment. Female guardian dogs return to us for short periods during breeding and whelping, while males are occasionally needed for quick visits to help produce future litters.
We keep in close communication throughout the process to ensure the experience is smooth, respectful, and enjoyable for everyone involved—including the dog! Our goal is to prioritize the health and well-being of our breeding dogs while offering a way for families to be part of something meaningful.

Please Note:
Our Guardian Home opportunities are offered on an as-needed basis. Puppies are hand-selected by us based on temperament, structure, and genetics to support the future of our program and uphold the standards of the Four Front Doodles brand. For this reason, we do not always have Guardian puppies available. If you’re interested, we encourage you to reach out and apply—we’ll contact you when a potential match becomes available.
Q: What is the cost to become a Guardian Home?
A: There is no upfront cost for the dog. Guardian families receive a pick-of-the-litter puppy at no cost, in exchange for partnering with us in our breeding program.
Q: Do we get to choose the puppy?
A. We select the puppy placed in each Guardian Home based on temperament, structure, and coat traits needed for our program. We always match you with a dog that fits well into your home and lifestyle.
Q: How long will my dog be part of the breeding program?
A: For females, we typically retain breeding rights for 4 litters. Males may remain active for a few years, depending on their health and breeding success. Once their breeding career is complete, we cover the cost of spaying/neutering and transfer full ownership.
Q: Will my dog leave our home often?
A: Female dogs return to us for a few days during breeding and about 6–8 weeks during whelping and raising puppies. Males are usually needed for short visits. We always work closely with you on scheduling and transportation.
Q: What expenses are covered?
A: We cover all costs related to breeding—health testing, reproductive vet care, and whelping. You are responsible for routine veterinary care, food, grooming, and day-to-day needs.
Q: Do I need experience to become a Guardian?
A: No prior experience is needed! Just a love for puppies and dogs! We’ll guide you through everything and stay in regular communication to support you along the way.
